Repair FAQ
Do You Need to Send a Tool in for Repair?
Where do I send my tool?
For repair please fill out our Return Authorization form here and follow the further instructions or for a list of Authorized Fowler Repair Centers please click here!
Inside the box, please include the following:
- Name, Phone, Fax, Email address & Return Address
- P.O. / Invoice # the tool was purchased on or the date the tool was bought and who it was purchased through
- The problem that you are experiencing with the tool should be described in detail
How much are the repair charges?
We cannot quote anyone over the phone on a repair cost for their tool. If there is going to be a charge to repair your tool, you will be quoted by fax or email prior to any work being performed. If at any point you do not wish to continue with the repair, notify Fowler and we will return your tool back to you. If the tool is still under warranty or it is an easy repair, we will fix the tool at no charge and return it back to you as quickly as possible.
How long does the repair process take?
We understand how important a role these tools play in your everyday work life. We try to repair and return your tool in the shortest time possible. We repair 90% of the tools we sell here at Fowler, but occasionally we must return certain tools to the manufacturer for repair. You will be advised before any return to the manufacturer occurs.
How long does it take to get a repair quote?
If there is going to be a charge for your repair, you will usually be quoted within 5-10 days once we receive your tool. A quote will take longer if the tool must be sent back to the manufacturer for repair.
When will I get my tool back?
Generally, most tools can be repaired in approximately 7 – 10 business days or less. If the tool has to be sent to the manufacturer for repair, the repair time will be longer.
As always, feel free to contact Fowler at: 1-800-788-2353
